What are you looking at?
Did you expect a real name?
Oh, I could think of one at the drop of a hat,
But, you see, it’s an awfully boring game

Do you know what’s in a name, then?
If you can ask me so rudely for one
It’s just a sort of identification for men
Who are losing their memory of having fun.

Having a name seems to be a rule
So I think I’d better comply
Before the world takes me for a fool
Who’s constantly asking how and why

     So I shall give
       This poem a name
